Day Charters – Operating times and boarding locations

Our day charters run for 9 Hours from 09:00 to 18:00, however, our partner boats may have different start times. Please check with us for specific details.

Yes, you can request alternative start and end times. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences based on our existing bookings and availability.

Yes, you can request to extend your charter. You can decide to extend on the day, however this will be subject to availability. The cost is between €60 to €80 per additional hour depending on the size of the yacht. Our partner boats may have different rates.

Our charters depart from Kalkara Marina Pontoon F. The marina is located within the stunning Valletta Grand Harbour. This departure point offers a spectacular view of the Grand Harbour from the sea — a truly breathtaking sight! Our partner boats may have different boarding locations. Please check with us for specific details.

Yes, parking is usually available at the marina where we operate or a few meters away. The parking spots are free of charge.

While we can accommodate various pickup locations, we typically prefer that customers board from our Home Base Marina. The reason for this is that it can be quite challenging for the skipper to single-handedly moor a large yacht at locations other than the marina, especially when docking against a concrete jetty. This increases the risk of damage to the yacht.

For these reasons, we only accept pickups or drop-offs at alternate locations in exceptional circumstances, and only when we are confident that weather conditions will allow for safe maneuvering.

If we agree to a different pickup or drop-off location, the following timings and additional charges will apply:

  • Valletta Harbour (10:00 – 18:00): €50 for up to 8 guests, €100 for up to 16 guests
  • Sliema (09:30 – 17:30): +€100
  • Excelsior Hotel (09:30 – 17:30, Hotel Guests Only): +€50
  • Portomaso Marina (09:30 – 17:30, Residents and Hotel Guests Only) (Guests need to obtain authorisation through hotel)
  • Xemxija (10:30 – 17:00): +€100
  • Mellieha (10:30 – 17:00): +€100
  • Cirkewwa (11:00 – 17:00): +€100
  • Mgarr Marina, Gozo (11:00 – 17:00): +€100
