Bareboat Charters
Bareboat Charter are only available to licensed and experienced sailors. A bareboat charter offers you the flexibility to decide where you’d like to go and the route you take to get there. Sailors must present a sailing qualifications and sailing experience on a sailing boat of similar size. Our sailing yachts come fully equipped and are commercially endorsed. Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy
A Deposit is required to confirm booking. The remaining balance shall be paid on the day of the charter. Full Deposit shall be refunded if charter cannot be done due to weather conditions.

Terms and Conditions
Season:
- Low Season – 15th September to 30th April
- Mid Season – 1st May to 30th June
- High Season – 1st July to 14th September
Price Includes
- Exceptionally maintained yachts with standard equipment as per inventory list
- Home Marina berthing charges for entire charter (excluding water & electricity)
- Storage of extra luggage if required
- VAT or any other Local Tax
Discounts
- 5% all early bookings (At least 3 months in advance)
- 5% for two weeks charters
- 10% for three weeks charters
- 15% for four weeks charters
- Maximum cumulative discount 25%
Security Deposit (Refundable)
- Insurance Waiver: €175 per week plus a refundable security deposit of €595
- OR a security deposit of:
- – €2000 for yachts up to 43 feet
- – €2500 for yachts larger than 43 feet
- This will be paid by credit card upon boarding or bank transfer. In the case of bank transfer this should be received at least 3 days prior to start of charter and will be refunded at the end of the charter.
Service Pack
- Includes full water tanks, cooking gas bottles, linen, blanket and towels for each crew member as well as end cleaning
- – 3 Cabin Yachts – €95
- – 4 Cabin Yachts – €115
- – 5 Cabin Yachts – €130
Extras (Optional)
- – Starter Pack €35 for 6 Persons
- Includes: washing up liquid, sponge, bin liners, matches, toilet and kitchen rolls, fruit plate, water, orange juice, wine, packet of biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk
- – Provisioning at €50:
- Provisions can be delivered to the yacht before check-in. A clear shopping list should be provided at least 3 days before check-in.
Requirements
- Sailing experience resume
- Nautical license (minimum of RYA/MCA Yacht Master Offshore or International body equivalent)
- Passport
- Credit Card
- Crew List
- Contract will be signed on boarding
Fuel
- Diesel consumption is charged on consumption. Boats are delivered with full tanks and consumption shall be calculated upon returning the boat. In extreme cases especially in long journeys, clients should only refuel from authorised stations only with prior authorisation from the management.
Dinghy and Outboard:
- All yachts are provided with a dinghy and oars.
- Outboard motors can be provided for an additional cost of €80 per week.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: 19:00
- Check-out 08:30
- The above times are the standard times however customers are welcome to discuss alternate timings based on their flight times.
Boats Location
- Kalkara Marina – Triq il Marina, Kalkara Malta.
Payment Terms
- A deposit to secure booking is required.
- – 50% of charter price to be paid on booking.
- – 50% shall be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the date of the charter.
